These little birds are called “bushtits” and are the most delightful birds in my yard!! I can hear them coming enmasse from about 2 blocks away, and when they land on the suet cakes it reminds me of a flurry of honey bees!!  This is the longest “feeding frenzy” I’ve witnessed and as luck would have it, I had my window cam recorder on  when they hit!

Bushtit feast

You will see at the beginning of the video before the 2 minute mark my squirrels just discovered the bungee toy I bought them yesterday.  They flurry of activity with the bushtits and the chickadees didn’t phase the squirrels at the feeders one bit!! They just went about their business.  You will also see a beautiful yellow Townsends WArbler pop into the picture early on!

Bushtit

Dang these little guys are cute!!!.  They used to be shy around me but  now they have no fear.  I can stand by the feeder and wait for them to come in with my camera on the tripod.

THE STUDIO WINDOW CAM IS ON EVERY DAY FROM DAWN TILL DUSK NOW!!
