Elephant Nature Foundation book preview
I spent the better part of the weekend having some fun with the images from the Elephant Nature Park I took in February. For those of you who don’t remember that trip, it is a rescue for abused and neglected elephants in Thailand. An absolutely first class program run by all volunteers, under the guidance of the founder Lek. Clicking on the ELEPHANTS banner at the top of the blog will always get you to their site.
ELEPHANT NATURE PARK IN CHIANG MAI THAILAND
I will eventually be offering this as a hardcover book when I get the descriptions all in place. There is very little profit in printing these small run publications, but any profit I will put back into ENF.
My panda book will be published around the same time in early 2009

Sandy, This is lovely. Tears were streaming down my face. Thanks so much for sharing your experiences! Can you tell me who is singing? I love it.
Kris

Sandy…
Fabulous pix…thank you for sharing…you really made my evening!
Hello Kris, Kirsten and Gay!! I’m SO glad you all stopped in to comment. Every time I look at the slideshow on the elephants I can’t believe #1 that we were doing all those things with the ellies…and #2……the elephants were so gentle with us!! Especially considering their hard hard past lives before ENF.
I cry each time I watch it still.
Thanks for the marvelous posting! I certainly enjoyed reading it, you’re a
great author.I will make sure to bookmark your blog and will come
back down the road. I want to encourage that you continue your
great writing, have a nice weekend!
Traditional thatched-hut bungalows can be found next to shiny modern buildings, and many places, even the most basic, now offer pools,
air conditioning and hot running water, though some
rooms at the rock bottom level may only have cold water and fans.
Bali adventures are also among the many things that lure guests
and tourists to the island. If you are an advanced diver you might want to go out east to Nusa Lembongan and Nusa
Penida.
My brother suggested I might like this website. He was
entirely right. This post actually made my day. You can not imagine just how much time
I had spent for this info! Thanks!
